These are the bed's overall outside dimensions, not mattress measurements. Width is measured side to side; depth runs from the headboard to the footboard.

Planning tip: Queen takes 16 inches less room width than either larger option. California King extends 4 inches farther into the room than King. Allow space for nightstands, opening drawers and comfortable walkways, and check doorways, stairways and the delivery path before ordering. Rail-to-floor clearance is 6.25 inches.
