Choosing a mattress is personal. Take time to settle in at home, with the support of your local Sleep Studio team and a clear path to a one-time comfort reselection.
For eligible Sleep Studio mattresses purchased in-store or online with the required Mattress Protection Plan, available in-store only, and kept within our Metro Detroit & Southeast Michigan service area. Outlet, Clearance and floor-sample mattresses are excluded.
Sleep on your mattress for at least 45 days before requesting a comfort reselection. Give yourself time to get used to its feel.
Your 90-day window starts when your mattress is delivered or picked up. Contact us after at least 45 days of use and no later than day 90.
If approved after inspection, choose an equal- or greater-value mattress once. Reselection fees apply; no refunds are issued.
The Sleep Studio at 5th Avenue
Review these requirements before purchasing so you know exactly how your Sleep Commitment works.
Purchase an eligible Sleep Studio mattress in-store or online and keep it within our Metro Detroit & Southeast Michigan service area. Outlet, Clearance and floor-sample mattresses are excluded. Otherwise eligible special-order mattresses are included.
The required Mattress Protection Plan is available in-store only. Purchase it before your mattress is delivered or picked up, and use a mattress protector. A mattress cover or protector—including a free promotional protector—is not the purchased protection plan.
The mattress must be clean, unstained, undamaged and free of pet hair. An inspection is required, and the mattress must be approved before reselection.
Clear costs, before you decide
Includes pickup of the approved original mattress and delivery of the replacement within our Metro Detroit & Southeast Michigan service area.
Calculated on the original mattress price you actually paid, excluding tax, delivery charges and the protection plan.
Your reselection must be of equal or greater value. You pay any price difference in addition to the fees. Promotional offers do not apply to reselections, and no refunds will be issued.
If you paid $2,000 for your original mattress, the reselection fees are $199 + $200 (10%) = $399. A higher-priced replacement adds the price difference. This fee illustration excludes any applicable taxes.
If you are not satisfied after at least 45 days of sleeping on your mattress, contact 5th Avenue within 90 days of the original mattress’s delivery or pickup date. We will be happy to assist with a one-time reselection, subject to these conditions:
Comfort reselection is separate from manufacturer warranty coverage for defects. Manufacturer warranties have their own terms; contact our team for help with a warranty question.
It begins on the date your original mattress is delivered or picked up—not the date you place the order. You must sleep on the mattress for at least 45 days and contact us within that 90-day window.
A comfort reselection is available only after at least 45 days of use. You can contact our team earlier for questions or guidance. Report a damage or defect concern promptly through the applicable damage or warranty process; you do not need to wait 45 days to ask for help.
Eligible Sleep Studio mattresses purchased online are included when you purchase the required Mattress Protection Plan in-store before delivery or pickup, use a mattress protector, keep the mattress within our local service area and meet all other terms. Outlet, Clearance and floor-sample mattresses are excluded. Otherwise eligible special-order mattresses are included.
No. The physical mattress cover and the required Mattress Protection Plan, available in-store only, are different. A free cover included in a mattress promotion does not replace the required protection-plan purchase.
No. This program offers one approved reselection for an equal- or greater-value mattress. It does not provide refunds, and reselection fees and any upgrade difference apply.
This is the 5th Avenue Sleep Commitment for eligible purchases from our store. Trials advertised by a mattress manufacturer for purchases from its own website do not automatically apply to a purchase from 5th Avenue. Ask us about the terms for your exact order.
