Layaway

At 5th Avenue Furniture, we offer a convenient 6-month in-store layaway plan to help you purchase the furniture or mattress you want at today’s price. Here’s how it works:

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Price Hold: Your layaway will lock in the price of the item(s) for up to 6 months. However, the merchandise itself is not reserved until the layaway is fully paid off.

  2. Down Payment: A minimum of 10% of the total purchase price is required as a down payment to initiate the layaway.

  3. No Cancellations or Refunds: Once a layaway is initiated, it cannot be canceled, and no refunds will be issued for any payments made.

  4. Changes & Service Fees: Any changes made to your layaway after it has been initiated, such as changing items or adjusting the payment plan, will result in a $50 service fee. Additionally, any funds already paid will be converted to store credit, which can be used for future purchases.

  5. Delivery/Pickup Estimate Upon Payoff: Once your layaway is paid in full, we will begin the process of transferring your merchandise to our local warehouse. This transfer can take as little as 1 Business Day or up to 12 weeks, depending on availability and delivery schedules.

  6. Discontinued Items: We are not responsible for any items that become discontinued during the layaway period. In the event that an item is no longer available, we will work with you to find a comparable alternative or provide other options. Payments made can only be used as store credit. Additionally, no service fee will be assessed for this particular instance. 

  7. Timely Payments: Full Payment must be made within 6 months. Failure to meet payment deadline could result in the cancellation of the layaway, and all funds paid will be converted to Store Credit which is only valid up to 1 year from date Layaway was initially created.

  8. Price Adjustment Flexibility: If the price of an item decreases during the layaway period, we will honor the lower price. Please inform sales associate to make necessary change. 5th Avenue is not responsible for facilitating the process.
